Childhood Immunisations National Immunisation Program (NIP)
We administer all vaccines included on the Australian National Immunisation Program (NIP) schedule. NIP vaccines are provided free of charge to all eligible children. Our GPs follow the current edition of the Australian Immunisation Handbook at every milestone appointment.
We provide childhood vaccinations at the following NIP schedule milestones:
- Birth
- 6 weeks
- 4 months
- 6 months
- 12 months
- 18 months
- 4 years
If your child has missed any scheduled vaccines, our GPs can review their immunisation history and arrange a personalised catch-up immunisation schedule in line with ATAGI guidelines.
Adult & Adolescent Immunisations
Vaccination needs in adulthood vary depending on age, underlying health conditions, occupation, and lifestyle. Our GPs assess your individual immunisation history and provide personalised recommendations in line with current ATAGI guidelines.
We offer a comprehensive range of adult vaccines, including:
- Influenza (Flu) recommended annually
- COVID-19 updated doses as per current health guidelines
- Shingles (Herpes Zoster) recommended for adults 50 years and over
- Chickenpox (Varicella)

Please note: Some vaccines are available free under the NIP for eligible age groups. Our GPs will advise on your specific entitlements at the time of consultation.
Travel Health Consultations & Vaccinations Tiaro, QLD
If you are planning international travel, a pre-travel health consultation with one of our GPs is an important first step. We assess your destination(s), planned activities, duration of travel, and medical history to create a personalised travel health plan.
Our travel health services include the following vaccines and preventive measures:
- Yellow Fever (Bopple Surgery is an accredited Yellow Fever vaccination provider required for entry into certain countries)
- Typhoid

- Rabies (pre-exposure prophylaxis)

Preventive medications and advice:
- Malaria prevention assessment and prescription of appropriate antimalarial medication

Important: We recommend booking your pre-travel consultation at least 6 to 8 weeks before your departure date. Some vaccines require multiple doses over several weeks to provide full protection.
