- Physical examination, including cardiovascular, respiratory and musculoskeletal systems
- Vision and hearing screening for roles requiring sensory acuity
- Pathology testing (such as blood tests) where clinically indicated
- Drug and alcohol screening if requested by the employer
- Functional capacity assessments for physically demanding roles
- Additional tests such as spirometry or referral for imaging, depending on occupational requirements
